Hex Publishers Signs Stephen Graham Jones
(Denver, Colorado) – Hex Publishers, a small, independent publishing house based in Denver, continues its impressive winning streak with the signing of yet another best-selling and award-winning author.
Stephen Graham Jones, a professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, will contribute a short story to Hex's upcoming anthology, Nightmares Unhinged. The signing of Jones would be a big deal for any publisher. For the newly minted Hex, it's a game changer.
"Stephen Graham Jones is a highly-regarded master storyteller with a huge following," said Hex Publishers founder Josh Viola. Jones is a prolific writer, having authored five collections and 15 novels. He’s been recognized as a Shirley Jackson Award finalist three times, a Bram Stoker Award finalist, a Black Quill Award finalist, an International Horror Guild finalist, a Colorado Book Award Finalist, a Texas Monthly Book Selection, and has won the Texas Institute of Letters Award for Fiction and the Independent Publishers Award for Multicultural Fiction. He’s also been a Texas Writers League Fellow and an NEA fellow in fiction.
